"I wish I could tell you why I love black-and-white photography. Maybe it's the absence of color that opens the door to imagination or interpretation. Black-and-white photography gives the audience the flexibility to design the colors in their imagination. Maybe it's the dramatic contrast of shadows that tells a story. When I take a photo, I always say, "But what would it look like in black-and-white?" Many times, we associate black-and-white photography with memories captured on film.
I think every photo will become a memory that I had the privilege of capturing. Maybe it is the intensity of the blacks and whites, fighting for presence in a photo that shows the fight between good and evil in our own lives.
"Maybe that is why I love B&W photography."
